Top five degrees with graduates employed quickest
1. Pharmacy 99.4%
2. Mining engineering 98.7%
3. Medicine 98.2%
4. Nursing (post-natal) 98%
5. Civil engineering 97. 8 %

I was wondering why pharmacy is in such large demand even more than medicine.
In the current state, there seems to be too many pharm graduates now, but are there really a massive shortage of pharmacists?
and where do they mostly get employed besides retail chemist and in demand?

depends what the criteria is for "employed" like in ur industry?

cos i know a couple of girls in med that are off to make babies and a couple want to travel and there are still excess intern spots at present 2009 gradates... so yeah... its not too clear.. nor is it much difference between those 5.. a couple of guys are going back to do more study

nursing and medicine are the highest and EASIEST

i think there r a lot of factors that affect employment differently, so wherever u got that stat, it's too defining

maybe that counts the year of work placement they have to do after graduating before they are officially a pharmacist.

yes i'm pretty sure those statistics are for the pre-registration,
so, they are likely to be lower in actual fact
