hi!

i'm starting a bachelor of science at monash this year, and looking to major in biochem and physiology (get prereqs for melbournes MD + they interest me).

looking around at the faculty website, they said that those interested in physiology would benefit from taking physics. now i did yr12 physics (reasonably well) and its interesting, etc. so i dont mind this. however i'm trying to work out how it's relevant, and was hoping if someone here could help me out in this regard.

PHS1011 and PHS1022 is the standard combo that you'd normally take. however i'd prefer to take PHS1031 for obvious reasons. i may be wrong and that is the physics they mean, i'm still waiting for a response from them.

on a similar note, some math is recommended for biochemistry. i plan to take MTH1030 (required for the degree) and then MTH2010. will this be enough or should i also take MTH2032 instead of the awesome 'breadth' subject i have planned? :(
