Picking preferences trouble please help (1 Viewer)

Hey guys im currently trying to pick my UNI preferences and im having some trouble because i cant find 9 COURSES to do

Im looking into the following universities and want to become a secondary school MATHEMATICS TEACHER.

• University of NSW
• University of Sydney
• University of Western Sydney

I have picked 4 preferences so far.

1) B Education (Secondary:Mathematics)/B Science USYD
2) B Science/B Education (secondary) Major in Mathematics UNSW
3) B Science /M Teaching (Secondary) Mathematics UWS
9) UWS COLLEGE ARTS ( INCASE I STUFF UP )


Know in summary my questions are:

1) What other courses can i do that are similar to mathematics teaching or can get me a job in it.
2) What is the best uni to go to for teaching.
3) Do i have to pick 9 preferences

You don't need to choose 9. You just need to choose at least 1.

no you don't need 9 preferences

university doesn't matter about teaching, your marks and personality do (teacher of mine got put straight into 4U teaching first week of teaching at Baulkham Hills High and she went to ACU)

do a science degree that covers the relevant shit to your teaching degree then do a dipEd or masters

Don't feel obliged to put all the preferences, I only put two on my VTAC (And i think there was 12 slots hah). Haven't done UAC yet
