Im studying belonging for english relating to the Shakespeare play As You Like It, and our first assessment has to have five different texts relating to belonging. A
nd all i need now are two more texts preferably a picture and a poem about belonging....
So does anybody know of any?? If so thatd be a great help.

When we move on with our life
Where does it lead too?
We join a group of people that
We think are friends
But why is that some get a feeling
That they really don’t belong anywhere
With anyone.

A person that I know dearly
Has this same problem
I worry about her all the time
She already has been broken
And doesn’t want to be broken
Anymore, any longer.

She tries to fit in with people
Whom she likes a lot.
But in the end she believes
That they really don’t want her
In the end.

She ponders this thought daily
And it brings her to tears
And it hurts me to see her like this
Why won’t it stop
Why can’t they like her.

Some try to change her
Some try to control her
Can’t they see that it’s hurting her
And tearing her apart.

Even now she’s crying while I write this
A requiem for the sad
And a requiem for the lost.
She thought she fit in with them
But in the end they just use her
Til they get what they want from her.

I just want this all to end
And see her cry no more.
Why can’t someone see this
And why can’t they stop this.
