Your PIN is the number you'll need to enter your preferences, get your UAI, etc...

Visit here from 9 am Sydney time on Friday 19 December 2003 to view your Universities Admission Index (UAI).
To login you will need your UAC number or student number, and PIN.

hopefully they'll accept last year's pin, they wouldn't give out new numbers

i've got my letter lying around somewhere with the pin (4 digit.. very hard to remember

so i'm guessing yes.
ive tried logging into uac using my old (and current) student number, and using the same pin that i was given last year (for those of you who sat hsc 2002 in any subject)
im still 'not eligible for uai' of course, but the page isn't online, so it should be a few days, at least.
(we have trials to study for!!)

my PIN arrived. it must have been in the past few hours, because i was home at 11.30am and didn't see any new mail.
first reaction: "bastards... they changed my PIN!!!"
it was 4493 last year (hehe sorry if this is the same as anyone else's ... but we dont have your UAC/student number, so it's okay)
other than that, it's the same letter/accompanying letter as last year.

so i checked mine last year when i got my pin
i am about 90% sure the system will be online tomorrow or this week.
visit www.uac.edu.au
left hand side
click "preferences" under 'login access'
then click applicant services
you will see:
Error: System not available yet.
This function is currently not available
It will be re-activated in August 2003, when UAC commences processing applications for 2004 undergraduate admissions.
an hour or two ago, when i visited the page, it didn't have any popup windows, it was disabled until "early august"
i have a good feeling it will be online VERY SOON
