I have yet to start completion of my 09 BOW.
I have the basis for it and all the ideas in my head but im yet to actually make something.
With the date for it to be completed looming forward its time to cue the panic :|

Was wondering if anyone could help me with singling out a mentor artist ?
I plan to have my body of work contained in a lepidoptera cabinet (insect display case used in museums- the one with all the drawers you pull out) .
Does anyone know any artists at all that have ever used one of these cabinets or similar?

Or any artists that create butterflies and insects out of unusual mediums ?

V. v. v. appreciative if anyone can help at all !

Umm Doris Salcedo works with installations, and she's one of my personal favs.

White Cube — Doris Salcedo

She works with drawers sometimes, don't know if it's what you're looking for.

Natural forms; can't help you there.
