more ppl viewing on mths ext 2.. Can someone pls help
a) Show that e^x = sin x + 3 has a root between x=1 and x=2.
b) Use the method of halving the interval three times to find a closer approximation to the root.
I've never worked with e's, while doing the usual sub in for a) the back of book shows diff answers.. but i have the method right.
b) Can someone please show me working out for this? text book doesn't have example for this question.. did normal halving interval method but its not coming out right.
Thankyou for whoever helps
