postgraduate certificate education (arts) (1 Viewer)

I'm going to call the university about it, but I was wondering if anyone around here knew if this certificate would allow me to teach Visual Arts as a subject along with the other two areas I have specialised in, in a bachelors degree.

Any help would be appreciated, I've been googling for days.

Hi Cole-,

The Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Arts Education) is intended for people who are already qualified teachers. It will not qualify you as a teacher in its own right.

If you are already a teacher, and you are wanting to expand your teaching options then I suggest that you discuss your plans with your employer, the teacher registration body in your state and perhaps also consult the School of Education at ACU to negotiate the best matching course to your needs.
