Prelim eng feels like a waste of time (1 Viewer)

yeah..not learning anything that's gonna be useful for yr12. School currently setting assessments not even remotely related to hsc. Also I feel like essays structures for hsc modules are completely different to writing about random themes + half the work is going to be perfecting essays then memorising.
Thoughts?

It's mostly about the skills you learn during Year 11 that makes it valuable i.e. learning how to structure and write essays, analysing a range of texts, perfecting study techniques and exam preparation methods etc.
Just use this time to experiment and learn what best works for you
I personally did shit in prelim, but oh well XD
