hihi, just wondering if it is necessary to know the Preliminary Course well to do well in the HSC. I mean, can they actually ask questions from the Preliminary Course that's not taught again in the HSC course in the HSC exam?
I've been stuffing around all preliminary year in IPT, so I really hope I don't need to re-learn all da yr11 stuff again lol

although they don't usually ask questions from prelim, but it is best to know things from it
such as the seven IPs...seven information process which is the only thing i can think of right now which was used in yr12

just basics, not that there was a great deal to know in prelims anyways

basically you will be alright if you work harder in yr12, even without any prelimn knowledge

I didnt even do the Preliminary course, due to confusion about subjects, the Board of Studies allowed me to pick the subject up if i did 50% of the assessments in year 11. Basically, i knew nothing from year 11, i just learnt the HSC work, i dont think it has affected my marks whatsoever, i came 2nd by one mark and probably end up with 80. Just concentrate on the HSC and forget the Prelim!

The HSC course is pretty much stand alone from the preliminary. There are few things you need to know from the preliminary such as morphing and warping; cel-based animation and path-based animation. I didn't learn much from the preliminary but if you work hard for the HSC course, you will get a good mark.
