i am in yr11 but i am struggling a little i was a straight A student especially in maths. in yr 11 my 2unit results was 89 which was ok but my ext math result was very low. How can i improve this.

its ranks that are more important than marks - as I have been told

if you get 60 in maths but you are ranked first then there is nothing to worry about - unless your school pushes your state rankings down

In this case you have to score high in the externals.

Eg. Rank one internally with 60.

Score 90 externally ( if its the highest from your schools ) you will get 90 90 90 on your marks

You got an A for english? Wow, I'm surprised.

In this case you have to score high in the externals.

Eg. Rank one internally with 60.

Score 90 externally ( if its the highest from your schools ) you will get 90 90 90 on your marks

So the higher the rank you are in the internals, the more you get scaled up if you score high in the externals? What if you go to a bad school and your cohort isn't that good? You get scaled down?
