I was reading through the examiner's notes on King Lear and found that there was a difference between a 'reading' and a 'production'.
What is the difference ebtween the two?
The way I see it is that a reading is a type of interpretation (eg Feminist, Marxist, Feminist, etc.) whilst a production is more specific (eg the Harliss production, Brooks, Eyre, etc.)
Have I got that right?
