in physics, can i use ext1 projectile motion instead of physics projectile motion? i know that they're essentially the same thing, except that physics uses u and v, and ext1 uses proper mathematical notations. never bothered learning the physics way, so just wondering if i can.
for example Q.27 of 2004 paper
the answers give the vertical component of the velocity, but i just worked out the velocity as a single component using the time of flight equation (assumed angle is 45)
am i still correct?
