SAM can be either accurate or totally inaccurate depending on how close your school assessments are to the HSC in terms of difficulty.
SAM requires you to know your aligned HSC marks which you obviously don't!
I've found that it can either make you feel really good if your school assessments have been easy or really bad if your school assessments were hard.
Advice: don't use it!

Well, you're not meant to use school assessment marks anyway.
