$4^{x+1} - 3\left ( 2^{x+3} \right ) + 35 = 4 \times 4^{x} - 3 \times 2^{3} \times 2^{x} + 35 = 4 \left (2^{2x} \right ) - 24 \left (2^{x} \right ) + 35$

Let $u = 2^{x}$

i got u = 3.5 and 2.5 , then how do i find x?

2^x = 3.5, 2.5

Take logs on both sides:

log(2^x) = log(3.5)
xlog(2) = log(3.5)
x = log(3.5)/log(2)

Similarly, replace the 3.5 with the 2.5.
