SO, in the hsc, 1 mark is really important right? like it can rank u up maybe 100 places??

Yeah I reckon 1 mark will make a lot of difference.

Imagine being 0.05 away from your course and you can't get in. That 1 mark could make or break you.

how much difference in aggregate would be between say a 99.6 and a 99.8.. i suppose u cant really say.

Yeah, some marks make a big diff. In the trials I got 61 for English, ranked 102/118, one of my mated got 69, ranked 69/118.
