In the "assumed knowledge" section of the UAC handbook it says that Chemistry was one of the prequisites for this course, but I haven't done any Chemistry in year 11 and 12. Should I invest some money into a bridging course? Are there any alternatives to bridging courses?

Cheers

Chem isn't a prereq, it is assumed knowledge so you can enter without studying any chemistry. If you want to study units involving chemistry it is a good idea to do a bridging course OR get yourself a tutor/self study and go over some chemistry before you start but usually a bridging course should be adequate.

There isn't a need for a bridging course, I'm sure some of your core subjects are introductory. You can always self learn the main components.
