At my school, there is only two students which does 4u maths. And so far i am coming first. And if these were the results at the end of the year,

Raw Assessment - Exam
A 89 84
B 78 88

Would the final results after moderation be this?

Moderated Assessment - Exam - HSC
A 88 84 86
B 84 88 86

the mean exam mark is 86, hence the mean moderated mark will be 86.
the max exam mark is 88, hence the max moderated mark will be 88.

as A got the higher raw assessment mark, A would get 88, i.e. the max exam mark. and B would get 84 (cause the avg of moderated assessment must equal average of exam)

so yeah. i am pretty sure you are correct, but i wouldn't bet my life on it.
