Student A and Student B both came first internally for a subject e.g. Economics
Student C therefore came third with the 2nd highest marks for that particular subject

After hsc exam,
Student A did really bad and got the 3rd highest marks in the cohort
Student B still came first with the highest hsc mark in the cohort
Student C did really good then get the 2nd highest mark

So in the end
Who will come 1st, 2nd,3rd??

I heard the teachers said "if u come 1st internally u will get the 1st highest external mark"
Is it true?

So that means,
Student A get student C internal marks (moderated mark)
Or student A gets student B marks since they both come first internally therefore get the highest external marks despite that student A gets the 3rd highest hsc mark in the cohort???

Also
Student B still come first with both highest external and internal mark
Student C will come 2nd and get student A mark as moderated mark (cuz student C did better than student A externally)???

Sorry
Im confused just by reading that too !!!
