I am a bit confused, is Deckard a replicant or not? My english teacher said he's not but I got the impression that he was, I also went to a seminar where they implied that he was too...
Is it supposed to be left ambiguous or am I just missing the point.

our teacher said that whether or not deckard is a replicant is completely irrelevant to what we're doing and that its meant to be ambiguous in the film..so its meant to be something taht you ponder as a viewer of the film, but as a student studying ti you cant just not mention it in your response to the film.
