Tbh a lot of those orientation sessions aren't too neccesary. In my experience for presentations like one or two groups use Prezi and the rest of them just use powerpoints which are often chucked together in the last minute anyway lol. You may be able to tag along but it'd be risky to just turn up on the day if you didn't have any other plans at uni/in the city that day.
