Can anyone help me with the uses of radioisotopes... in engineering and agriculture...

for engineering I've got the measuring the thickness of metal

but I'm stuck on agricultre....

then I'll just bs my way through the impact of this type of physics on society and the environment

Why not do the use of radioisotopes in medicine and industry?
I thought they were the common ones

yeah I've done medicine and industry but the task wants all three
so I'm missing agriculture

there's one something about plant physiology... I'm not sure though how it works

Ohhh okay, well I've never done radioisotopes in agriculture, perhaps I missed it in the text books?
I'll take a look in them and see if there's anything

Radioisotopes such as nitrogen-15 and phosphrus-32 used in fertilisers to see how much is taken up by plant and how much wasted. Like a tracer.

Radioisotopes also used to eradicat insects that are pests like fruit fly and let back in wild so when they mate no offspring.
