School rank: Varies. Last year: 300, year before: 250

It really depends on the strength of your cohort tbh, other students will have a slight effect on it if you're not first, and your school seems to change ranks drastically yearly.

A school that performs inconsistently is typically dependent on the performance of just a few students. Your rank won't determine anything. It will come down to your marks and the standard of your assessments - are you getting good marks in easy assessments or good marks in hard assessments etc. How do you know they are easy or hard assessments etc.? More important questions than a rank which is ultimately meaningless.

Usually 1 band 6 and the rest band 5s is enough for a 90 ATAR I think but it depends on the subjects.

Yeah.. that really does depend on the subjects.. with your subjects for e.g that would be very true

Pikachu's, but I mean you could still achieve 90+ without getting any band 6's, but would need to maintain like mid to high band 5's across all subs without stuffing up in any. Not necessary to have to have a band 6 to achieve 90 atar.
