say im coming 1st with 77%
and another guy is coming 2nd with 69%.

all that matters will be the ranking? not the actual mark?

e.g. if i got 95 in hsc for that subject what will happen?

If 95 is the highest mark, you will get 95 for internal assessment mark and 95 for external mark, leading to a 95 in your final HSC Mark.

So basically does this also apply to any other ranks? E.g. I'm ranked 8th, but someone else is ranked 9th, with a 1% difference...so does it mean it's better to try to increase the gap between the students? :S
