Raw mark in 2u math for 95+ HSC mark? (1 Viewer)

Would 105/120 in 2u math be a 95 HSC mark? I know it depends on the cohort and the difficulty of the paper, but would that be a reasonable raw mark to aim towards to achieve a 95 HSC mark?

I'd say yes.

i remember seeing someone's raw marks from last year. they got 108/120 raw and that became an exam mark of 96. so 95 would require around 105-106

108 in a 2U exam is not the hardest thing in the World, so aim for around or above that.

Thanks guys. I got 105 in the trials, so I'll defs be aiming for 110 in the HSC

Well, depending on what school you go to - your Trials should be more difficult than the HSC itself. So yeah, you'll be fine.

Wow, I never would have expected the HSC mark to be that much higher. I got 100 and something in my trials too and know that all the marks I lost except for only one part of a question were due to silly mistakes. I haven't really thought about how my marks would change from all that scaling and whatever because I just plan to do my best, but this is really quite surprising to me.
