S is obvously 400 becuase after 2 years in the straight line methos it would be 800/2 which equals 400

S= Vo(1-r)n

n = 2 yrs

400 = 800 (1-r)^2
(1-r)^2 = 400/800
1-r = square root 1/2
-r = square root half -1
-r = -0.292
R = 0.292
R = 29%

27bi) 5/6 x 5/6 which i would had though would be 25/36 but ma book says 25/6 ?

ii) both get a 6 = 1/6 x 1/6 = 1/36
get 1 6 = (1/6x5/6) + (5/6x1/6) = 10/36
no 6 = 5/6 x 5/6 = 25/36

20 x 1/36 = $0.55
2 x 10/36 = $0.55
2x 25/36 = $1.38

0.55+0.55-1.38 = -28cents
financial expectiations = -$0.28

cii) if you got (i) the andswer is 32.2..
AC = 32.1676 x 2 = 64.3352
CE squared = 15 squared +64.3... squared
CE = square root 4364.02
CE = 66.06
CE=66.1
