btw i didn't need people to give me reason in come to unsw, in fact, one usyd personnel was enough to persuade me not to go there.

What is ur focus more on? If its engineering then go UNSW, but if its Science take a look at Usyd

And about lots of ethic groups, I don't really care, I want a good degree so when I look for a job they will accept me[i.e we both have the same qualities(the other candidate competing with me) and the only thing that separate us is our degree]

and I was thinking of a double major, i.e Beng(aero)/Bsc(nano)

Unfortunately, you're in trouble.

1) USyd doesn't have a nano degree (it's just a token mix of physics and chemistry electives)
2) UNSW has a sweet nano degree, but you can't combine it with anything else. On the upside you do a lot of engineering units (materials).

I want BSc(Nano+Maths), myself. It sucks.

i was looking at unsw general engineering course, if its considered the best in the country... then they are pretty friendly with the accept uai of around 75, and UTS is a bit higher.. whats the diff?

Maybe different courses OR UNSW has more places to offer then UTS OR ppl want to go to UTSA cause its closer to places like the Hills.
There are many different reasons
