Tonight, I will stick pins in my voodoo doll and torture your helpless, little soul.

I will then stick pins in myself because, like the voodoo doll, I am just a worthless pawn in this horrible game of life.

I think everybody who is healthy, at least just once, donate blood to the less fortunate. According to statistics, 60% of the population is eligible to donate however less than 5% do. Blood transfusions are able to treat and cure certain diseases and cancers, so give generously. That is all :)

So, 60% can donate, but only 5% do?
See; it is a horrible game. Nobody cares. It's all so pointless.

I know, you want blood? I'll donate blood. Just give me the razor blade, I already know where to cut.

You see, I have a disease that needs curing too. I call it being alive. And if I donate enough blood, then just maybe I can escape this blackened existence of mine.

I’m not even going to refute that post with a statement.

I've always wanted to give blood but have been too scared. I have an extremely low threshold for sharp pains and even the pinkprick my naturopath used to do scared the hell out of me....

Although I have a valid excuse this year, I'm sick and will be on antibiotics soon (eg tomorrow)...

Same, but because I think I’ll faint. When I get blood tests I find it hard to move my fingers (as the blood is being taken from them) and sometimes have to ask them to loosen the band because I can’t move them at all. Does that happen to everyone?

Hehe, I must say, that needles for the most part don't really scare me since I've gotten used to getting so many as a kid.

Who's up for a meetup on thursday to donate blood! :D

you know, they can put you on anesthetic if you're scared, but you'll need somebody else to give you a lift home as you'll be feeling too drowsy to drive yourself back :p

btw, iambored, i think they make you lie down during the injection to decrease your risk of fainting.
