It depends on how you analyse the related text. You need to analyse BNW in terms of conflicting perspectives and not in terms of Science Fiction (as it is studied in Ex1), i.e. you shouldn't make a connection between the two courses. If you are actually doing BNW as an Ex1 text then I would recommend staying away from it because you will struggle to separate your Ex1 analysis from for Advanced analysis, but otherwise you should be fine.
I actually did BNW as a related text for Module C (Julius Caesar) and it worked out fine, as did a friend of mine who state ranked.
