PLEASE READ: Results come out on 12:01am 14th July via eStudent. There may be an alternative method; in the past I think that www.results.mq.edu.au has been used if eStudent crashes.

As of yet, there has been no signs of being able to get results early. Details will be uploaded here when known.

In the mean time, post up your results so-far, your prediction of your final mark, and (on the 14th) your final mark! :) -Rob/pwaryuex

Re: Results

That's a Tuesday, right?
Does anyone know what time on that day they'll be released?

Quoted from here, MQnU: Information for Students

COMMUNICATION OF RESULTS/UNIT RESULT NOTIFICATIONS:
It is expected that unit result information and qualification details will be available on the eStudent website (https://student1.mq.edu.au) from 12.01 am on Tuesday, 14 July 2009. The University does not issue paper-based result notifications to students except for those students who qualify for an award. If you wish to change the address to which advice regarding confirmation of your eligibility to graduate is to be sent, you must amend your address by accessing the eStudent website (https://student1.mq.edu.au), by no later than 12 July 2009.

Anyway, people should post up their predictions and current results!

AHST490 - Historiography seminar: I've only got one paper back with 88%. Hope to get ~90 for the final mark, although it'll probably be more around 88% still.
AHPG865 - Ancient Egyptian Ceramics: Got an HD- in one paper and a D+ in another. Hope to get >85, although I'm worried about it. :-(

AHST103- Been pulling HD's so far, hoping that will come through in final result.

AHST206- D's and HD's in assessments but i felt i fucked the exam :( so anything C or higher would be great.

AHST100- I don't know... Feel i smashed the exam, got HDs in both tute papers but only just scraped a pass in the major essay so i really have no clue what i'm going to get.

You have a law subjects where you get back all of your raw marks? That's interesting - I thought they didn't give out all the marks because they didn't want students observing scaling.

Good luck to all.

These are my predictions:
ACCG253: D-HD (hopefully)
ECON200: C
LAW208: P (fucked up stupid piece of shit subject)
ISYS123: D (hopefully)

I really think I should obtain 2 distinctions hopefully this semester but knowing how grading is fucking done, more likely my results will be max credits. Anyways waiting and hoping. good luck all

Re: Results

Maybe it's just my tendency to see the worst in people, but am I not alone in thinking that no one genuinely cares about the results anyone else could or will get?

(Thus making this entire thread extremely ironic.)

It was a bit weird actually, for LAW438 it only has like 18 students and like two actual classes besides the placement, thus I guess she just put it up on web ct so we could get some feed back.

As for LAW521 - no marks for the semester were up until during the exam period (and after the final had been handed in) thus I think he was making up for it. The same also happened for LAW438

How did you find 210, out of curiosity?
I thought it was great. It was a nice break from my law units, since it mostly involved looking at artefacts and such, and wasn't heavy on readings. Most of the lectures were pretty interesting and Nick was an awesome tutor.
