So I need to give a speech about a Robert Frost poem of our choosing, and I have chosen
A Question - Robert Frost
And tell me truly, men of earth,
If all the soul-and-body scars
Were not too much to pay for birth.
I dont want anyone to analyse it for me, I just want to know what Frost means, and what he is trying to say here.
And I also have questions regarding my own understanding of this poem.
Are lines 1 and 2 the voice of a critique of the Earth, is it the voice of Robert Frost himself, or perhaps God?
I dont get the last lines though so if someone could give me their own understanding of this poem, that would be awesome.
Thanks
