Hi I was wondering if anyone has completed this course as part of their Bachelors Degree.. what does it involve?
Do you need experience? I have never sailed a ship before.

No, you don't need any formal experience. What you do require is either of the following

Bronze Medallion in open sea swimming and cutlassing
Certificate IV in Mutiny and Pirateering
Certificate III in Bootlegging
MARA100 Intro to Pirate Vocab and Skills OR MARA187 Intro to Rigging and Savagery.

I checked and the AMC have removed the prerequisite of MARA145 - Landlubbing, as it seen as more of a hinderance than a help these days.
