When pple get raw marks of like 84 and then they end up gettin a final external mark of 90 something, is that scaling?

Does that figure increase for better scaling subjects?

e.g. what raw mark would be required to get a 95 for chem, bio, adv eng, 2u maths, legal and pdhpe?

that might be a stupid question but ahhh well.

thanks

aligning i think.
chem probably u need 90/100 for 95
maths probably around 110 depending on the difficulty of the exam.

Scaling is how much weight a subject will have on your UAI.

Aligning is the increasing/moderation of marks from the raw score, so they fit the performance bands.

For 2u maths, I think I got about 90% raw and got 93 total last year, but the exam was easier which might have been why the marks didn't align as well.
