Just wondering what everyone's take is on like, science and its "role" on unlocking and..preserving I guess...the past?

I've had a shitload of people say science is intrusive and others saying its like the best thing since..i dunno..lmfao, but yeh, just wondering what you all think on the matter?

Thanks

Bah i cant remember... this is in the Preliminary Course for Ancient History. There are many different scientific techniques that could be used to assist archeology. Off the top of my head C14 dating, Phermoluminesence, Argon something dating are some of them. Its been a while, ill see if i can dig out my notes.
