I would recommend including an abstract, literature review, a scientific research question, hypothesis, method in the paragraph - not numbered steps, results, discussion, conclusion, and a reference list. Keep in mind to include in-text references throughout. An appendix at the end is also an effective way to include additional information that will not be counted towards your word count.
