Section 2 of Motors and Generators. (1 Viewer)

Hi, could someone please explain to me basically everything in section 2 of motors and generators? I am good with the rest of the topic, its just that section 2 is very abstract and I can't understand it. No one has been able to explain it to me in basic english and unfortunately in physics, there is no other way I understand. I tried a tutor and no one could help me. so if anyone has an easy way to understand section 2 or has a link or something please let me know thank you!

I haven't read all of this and you have probably already seen it. I have the same issue in that I need layman's terms but not many people can do it. I've read this site for different subjects and it was helpful.
