Sy123 This too shall pass Joined Nov 6, 2011 Messages 3,730 Gender Male HSC 2013 Jul 25, 2012 #3 Since we are only regarding amplitude and period, then we can fix the Centre of oscillation to be x=0 I skipped algebra, pretty much using the logic of SHM in the first place, find 2 equations in terms of n and a, then solve.
