A particle, whose displacement is x, moves in simple harmonic motion. find x as a function of t if acceleration= -4x and if x=3 and velocity = -6 root 3 when t=0.

i'm trying to use: x= a sin(nt+alpha)? :hammer:

use both the displacemnt and the velocity dx/dt

sub the condition then when you have those two equation you can divide them both to get tan something = soemthing hence you ocan find your alpha.
