Does anyone know where the shortcuts are located where you barely have to walk any stairs?

Like for example I want to get to Central Lecture Block but if I arrive on bus at the front entrance I have to walk really far just to get to the end then walk a mountain of steps....then next thing you know another endless mountain of steps...how annoying is that!

I heard from a friend that there are shortcuts around the campus where you don't even have to walk ONE step to get from one end of the campus to another.

So basically my question is: Does anyone know where these shortcuts are?

You'll get wands in order to avoid this catastrophe. All you have to do is recite the magical words and recite them properly. Otherwise you'll end up with results along the lines of Neville Longbottom style.

But seriously though... wouldn't waiting for the lifts to actually arrive take longer than walking up all those stairs??

the lifts in the main library are pretty fast, they're the only lifts i enjoy using.
