Hey,

As we all know, Liberals kill Labour every year. But even so, having new leaders for each party will maybe cause changes for better or worse.

I thought Labour had a chance this year with Mark Latham, had better ideals than that hopeless Crean dude, and prolly better than that double loser Kim Beazley

Kim Beazly is an idiot. he lost twice already, yet he wants to come back and says his the best canidate. WTF???

Who here thinks Kim deserves another chance to be a "3 time lose"?

I don't think that he should come back. They need a new fresh face and start from the beginning. Well thats just my opinion anyways.

I also think that things are so absolutely shitehouse at the moment that it doesnt really matter. Also there is a reason the liberals 'kick labors ass' at every election and its not cos theyre gods gift to politics. (its cos they are FILTHY LIARS and people beleive them)

Care to expose their lies publically for us? Because obviously you are much more insightful than most people on this forum.

He gained seats at both elections. And won the popular vote at the GST election.

lol i know neo_o but it doesn't downgrade the first comment. Mr Beazley is a road scholar, he IS fit for the job, i think he would be a pretty good leader. It's stupid saying that because he is a 'two time loser' that that should be any reason against him.

Carl Scully was Minister for Roads, does that make him higher ranked in Labor than Beazley?

No, I get what he means now Ziff, he's a ROAD scholar, you know, he got a degree in town planning. I think he should add his expertise to state parliament, they need a political heavyweight like him.

As i said in other thread...Kim Beazely is the only person for the job.

You have all these people running around saying that we should notgo back to the past.....
They say Labor must experiment with the new generation....Hasnt that happened twice in the last year? The crean and latham experiments have been complete failures. WHats to say Rudd wont just be another victim in a years time?

Bezely is a know quantity both publically and in the party. He also has the experience as deputy PM, and the minister of over 7 differenct government departments. He won the popular vote against howard in 1998, and only lost the 2001 election on Tampa issues. He has what it takes. As a Liberal supporter i hope that labor will elect Rudd. But putting myself in the Labor shoes for a moment, i would say that Kim has the best chance.

Really. Kim should just retire to a backbench somewhere never to return. He lost twice and yet still says he is Labor's saviour... he didn't really save much last time or the time before that did he?

Honeslty, I don't it really matters who Labor puts in for the leadership, it won't really do much in terms of stopping the Liberal steam train. For Labor to get anywhere at the moment, they need Liberals to severely derail, because Labor is in shambles at the moment and the time left before the next election won't be enough for it to develop its own policies which are credible, not knee-jerk reactions and are actually feasible and voter attractive.
