Im probably going to sound like a retard, but im gonna ask anyway:


When you use the sine rule to calculate the size of an angle in a triangle, you need to test the validity of the angle.
i) Explain the reason for testing the validity.
ii) under what circumstances are there two possible values which occur.

you need to test for validity its because sine has 2 values between 0 and 2pi
if they give you angle A, length a and length b, there are 2 different diagrams you can draw (this is why ssa isnt a congruency test)
