(1) Anyone have a full list of skills that you need for the Geography HSC exam?
(2) What skills come up most in the HSC exam?
(3) Anyone know the name of a really good skills book?

1. Look in the syllabus--it actually specifies what skills u need to know

2. Do some past papers and itll become quite clear but general ones include: gradient, bearing, direction of a water system (eg. river etc.), what time of day it is (u need to look for the shadows etc.), local relief, verticle exxageration, ternary graphs (the 3 way ones)

3. Skills in Australian Geography by Grant Kleeman and Andrew Peters :)---it has details on pretty much every skill u need to know and questions on example maps....but srsly past papers are the best practise ..eveen for skills :)

especially last years cause they put in skills that haven't been done in a while. Cambridge Geo Skills is good and Excel is actually pretty good for explaining skills
