i heard that if u get > 90 in 10 units, u get some award from the premier or the minister for education or something. (as u can tell, i have researched the topic VERY thoroughly!)
as with all things, does that have to include english?
damn english has to count for everything....

i think it would include english, because english is counted as one of ur 10 best units

im pretty sure it counts english.. i remember tom (keypadsdm) didnt get it because he got like 89 in english (his uai was really really high and he topped 4u maths so i guess it doesnt really matter anyway)

but did he get another 10 units over 90? maybe he only got 9

the premier's award for excellence or whatever it's called, i can't remember, is for people who score over 90 in at least two units of english, and then over 90s in at least a further 8 units. it does have to count english, and that's probably why i won't get it. =\

oh i hate english..... I will get a band 3 in it. I am that bad. Not that I can't spell or make a sentence, because I can (I was the best speller in primary school), but it's just that I can't write fantastic essays. Either that or my teacher hates me so she gives me low marks.

i was shit at english - failed assessment tasks..:S
but stil i managed a band 4

essays - screw that i never practiced!

english teachers can tend to be rather biased when marking essays

I received the award last year
I did not get above 90 in english
:. 90+ in english is not a prerequisite
