just wondering how far the ranks got to (ie 10,20,100). what kind of mark do you need tio get there

edit: generally 95%+ raw in exams.

Chemistry and Physics were like 20, same with English Adv if I remember correctly. 2U Maths was also 20. Subjects like...Chinese Extension, there were like 10, whereas Legal Studies had 15~.

Can't remembre exactly though.

It depends on the number of candidature for each course.

For courses with 10000+, 20 state ranks
For courses from 1000-10000, 10 state ranks
For courses below 1000, 5 state ranks

But all state rankers must have achieved Band 6 in their respective course.

What kind of mark? It will depend on the performance each year. But usually for 2 unit maths - 118+, 3 unit maths 83+, 4 unit maths 114+ perhaps? etc etc

@ Aerath: Lol'd. I never got over that, I don't understand how a year 11 > all the year 12s..

Btw Physics has had less than 10000 people for the past few years (5+ I think), last year it was 9100 or something so only the top 10 count as a state ranking..
