Do people usually take this subject after the two 2nd year econometrics subjects (2206 & 2207) or in first sem of second year with 2206?

Depends. It's an elective from what I recall and I probably wouldn't bother with it until I at least had finished introductory econometrics (also, not everyone needs to do econometric methods).

I'm majoring in econometrics though so it's a core subject. Have you done econ2215?

I major in Financial economics, not econometrics.

And no, I won't be doing the course. Furthest econometrics I've done is financial econometrics.
