The G-20 meeting on November 18-19 will see the finance ministers and central bank governors of 19 of the largest economies in the world, the European Union and the leaders of the IMF and World Bank converge in Melbourne. StopG20 is planning a major mobilisation involving a series of convergences.
The G-20 is an international forum promoting neoliberal policies such as privatisation, trade liberalisation, the free movement of international capital, flexible labour markets and the enforcement of intellectual and other private property rights.
