How to study for English:

Step 1:
Consume many ounces of strong coffee
Step 2:
Think of Jane Austen
Step 3:
Go to the first three essays you see in the resources section
Step 4:
Click "DOC"
Step 5:
Combine the 3 essays (courtesy of jdrockefeller)
Step 6:
Hit the 'print' button
Step 7:
Collect the document from your printer
Turn off your computer.
Step 9:
Find a pen and some paper
Step 10:
Copy the essay until you can recite it in your sleep.

Simple: They go to an elite private school that doesn't offer standard or ESL, so they have to do advanced alongside their 4 unit maths, classical greek and latin extension, and various distinction courses.

Remeber kids: a 60 in english combined with a 95 in everything else is still good for a 90+ UAI.

Man, this would be the definitive study guide if it only said "collect many essays from the resource section..."

Remember kids: Copying from one source is plagarism, copying from many is research.

You sir, have my honour. That is the most definitive guide by far.

I don't think this is the best sort of advice to be handing out before the HSC guys.
