Hey guys so I have received my half yearly marks and they are really bad I havent gotten my report yet so i wont be able to view the ranks but my scores are this
Maths 3u: 60% (weighting 30%) for assessment 1 i also got around the same marks for 3u and 2u
Maths 2u: 67% (weighting 30%)
Engineering studies:65% (weighting 20%) got 87% for assessment 1
Chemistry:60% (weighting 25%) got 17/20 for assessment 1
English advanced: (not yet received, possibly 60-70% I believe) got 10/15 for assessment 1
Physics 76% (i have accelerated in physics so this is my hsc mark of 76)
I have 11 units right now
I know for a fact 85+% of my chemistry cohort failed and i think i have ranked in top 5-10, for maths 2u average i think was around 80% and engineering would probably be around 75% average and english not sure yet (will edit this thread as i am receiving the mark tomorrow).
I go to a public school.

My goal for ATAR is 90+ atleast, how much do i need to improve by to get atleast over 85 for each subject do you guys think? i only have 1 assessment and trials left then hsc. Im hoping to get into engineering at UNSW and i have done a special course which gets me 3 bonus atar points if i go to UNSW. I'm really disheartened and was just wanting to see if theres anything i can do about this.

I mean, if you try really hard and make sure you do really well in your remaining assessment trials and HSC it is possible but I don't think it is very likely. It would be better to know your School rank and the ranks in your subjects though.

With your current results and exams left, you need to be prepared you might fall short of your desired mark but you need to try your best nevertheless. I strongly advise you to get a tutor to help you immediately if you haven't already to guide you to the right studying habits and mindset, feel free to have a look at my study guide for some tips: http://community.boredofstudies.org...r-year-studies-yr-11-12-99-atar-graduate.html
