Suppose there's a question:
Find the integral of (1 - cos12x) dx
If in the next line of working, I were to accidentally write this as:
x - 1/12sin2x + C,
and I carried it through to the final answer, would I most probably lose a mark for this careless error? (i.e. 1/2 marks) or would the marks be awarded for the "integrating" process instead? (i.e. I would get 2/2 marks).
