Good luck with Neuroscience... Remember Foramen Magnum where the brain stem connects to the spine and Foramen Ovale - it holds either V3 or something else I cannot really remember (it is also in the heart so don't get confused between the two)!

I'm doing 2nd Year SCLG, WRIT and ARIN plus 3rd Year Anatomy and Histology... everyone seems to love Physiology and have decided to major in that instead. :(

Hey! I just have a quick question about subject selections, in my course as there are four different chemistry courses:
CHEM1001: Fundamentals of Chemistry 1A (Semester 1)
OR
CHEM1101: Chemistry 1A (Semester 1/Semester 2/Summer Main)

AND

CHEM1002: Fundamentals of Chemistry 1B (Semester 2)
OR
CHEM1102: Chemistry 1B (Semester 1/Semester 2/Summer Main) - Prereq required is CHEM1101??

I am confused as to which to do each semester?
I know I am not going to do any fundamentals as I have taken HSC chemistry, but so now i'm a bit puzzled as to which chemistry I am supposed to pick or am I supposed to do both?

Let me know if you require further information!

Thanks heaps!

Choose CHEM1101 and CHEM1102 (or advanced versions).

does anyone know how Dullin and Parkinson are as professors?

debating taking both advanced classes for B Sc. in Sem 1, just one advanced Sem 1 or none haha. That 8am 1901 lecture is really making me think hard about it haha

can i get an advanced maths degree if i dont take advanced courses semester 1?

Dullin and Parkinson are two of the best! You are lucky to have them (if you do)

Yeah you can get adv maths degree without adv first sem.

That actually looks interesting. I was always keen on geo and bio at school.

I actually rather the early lectures, it means I can get them out of the way and have the rest of the day free (hopefully my other units don't screw this up too much).

MATH1901/1902 aren't too bad either if you've done 4U (from what I've heard/seen from textbooks). You should be fine.

More like madness after MBLG1901 lol. And also, MBLG2071 would be more impressive cause that's all the protein biochem, this is more the genetics stuff that more general bio kids also have a crack at. The caution is in doing 2072 opposed to 2972 lol.

That actually looks interesting. I was always keen on geo and bio at school.
I can speak of how much I loved first year bio, I took every course :p (Um except is Rythen is lurking, yes I do still hate botany lol). Geo I didn't take past yr 10, but I kinda wanted to try it in uni and finally decided to in second sem cause you need normally 6cp of something at least to study it 2nd year. So with our beloved smod OzKo's endorsement, I tried it and loved it, just like he did. I find they kinda complement really well, cause with bio like ecology complements environment studies well, and like learning about human health in bio via diseases and stuff can be complemented through a geo lens.

You're going to have 5 full days if you take phys and chem. just saying.

but 8am lectures are the devil. just go to one weeks worth and you will understand.

No - timetables are released during O week and are relatively customisable.
